CANDY!!! Insane the amount of candy the kids brought home! Maile was an Eskimo, Myles a Storm Trooper, and Ty dressed as Darth Vader. Shea will be in on the action next year!!
My gosh....I must be crazy. I promised the kids another Halloween Party this year. Each one invited 3 to 4 kids.....that was before the storm came in!! Our Halloween Party was entirely indoors, pinata and all, due to pouring rain. Can you say CHAOS???? But, the kids had a great time!
Shea Anna Murray entered the world on September 24th at 7:56am. This little bundle weighed 7 lbs, 9 oz and measured 18.5 inches long. Such a sweetheart and perfect addition to our family!
Boating! Mike and Lita hosted the Murray clan for a fun weekend at Don Pedro. The kids got to tube behind the boat ....which was a bit scary! But they loved just being on the boat and swimming. Ziggy loved the lake too!
We took a day trip to Monterey to see the Aquarium. The kids loved it! So much to do! And we also stopped at the Dennis the Menace Park - a very fun (and long!!) day :)
Nate & I got to have a night out to see the Giants play the Dodgers! It was a great game - the Giants won! and the weather was sooooooo nice and cool. Such a great getaway from Roseville.
I just can't get enough of the beach! In July we camped with some friends at Wrights Beach in Bodega Bay. Such a beautiful area. The kids loved playing in the waves - and tracking down jelly fish! We even tried some fishing on the Russian River.
Ahhhhhhh...the Beach. In June we camped at Henry Cowell in Felton, and spent one day at the Santa Cruz Boardwalk and another at Natural Bridges Beach. The kids loved running in the waves and checking out critters in the tide pools - and I loved relaxing on the beach!
Summer fun at Marine World! As the kids get older they are loving the thrill rides more and more! Their favorites: Cobra and Monsoon Falls (on which they got soaking wet). This year - Maile was tall enough to go on ROAR - the large wooden roller coaster - and she LOVED IT!! Checking out the animals - especially the Walrus and the Shark Tank - are always a must!!
The day following our wedding ceremony - we took a jeep tour at Safari West. So much fun! I think our favorites were the giraffes and the silly ostrich who kept following our jeep! The kids loved sitting up top for a bird's eye view as well.
On June 6th we tied the knot! Maile, Myles, & Ty were ecstatic to be a part of our ceremony - as were we! Overlooking Safari West from our cabin deck (tent #18) - we were thrilled to be joined by our immediate family.
